Urban Blooms (operated by Righteous Truths) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you use our platform.
By using Urban Blooms, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
2. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account via Internet Identity, we store your principal ID (a pseudonymous cryptographic identifier), your chosen display name, role (buyer or seller), and storefront details if applicable.
Order Information
We collect order details including items purchased, quantities, sizes, print specifications, total amounts, and order status. Shipping addresses are stored for physical fulfillment where applicable.
Payment Information
Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. Urban Blooms does not store your full card number, CVV, or bank account details. We receive tokenized payment references and transaction confirmations from Stripe. Your financial data is governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy.
Design & Upload Files
Files you upload (design images, DTF files) are stored via the platform's object storage infrastructure. Sellers retain ownership of their uploaded content.
Usage Data
We may collect anonymized usage data such as pages visited, features used, and error logs to improve the platform. This data is not linked to your identity.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to operate and maintain the Urban Blooms marketplace, process and fulfill orders between buyers and sellers, calculate and disburse seller payouts via Stripe Connect, communicate order confirmations and support responses, detect and prevent fraud and prohibited content violations, improve platform features and performance, and comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for targeted advertising outside of the Urban Blooms platform.
4. Third-Party Processors
Stripe
Payment processing, seller payouts, and fraud prevention are handled by Stripe, Inc. By making purchases or receiving payments on Urban Blooms, you also agree to Stripe's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Stripe may collect device data, IP addresses, and behavioral signals to detect fraud.
Internet Computer (ICP)
Urban Blooms is built on the Internet Computer blockchain, operated by the DFINITY Foundation. Application data and state are stored in canisters on decentralized infrastructure. Some data may be replicated across global network nodes as part of the blockchain's architecture.
Object Storage
Uploaded design files are stored via a platform-integrated object storage extension. Files are accessible to buyers who purchase a design and to platform administrators for moderation purposes.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account and order data for as long as your account is active, plus 24 months after account closure to satisfy financial and legal obligations. Design files remain stored for the lifetime of the associated product listing.
You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data by contacting support@urbanblooms.art. Some data (transaction records, financial logs) may be retained longer to comply with tax and fraud prevention laws.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data, request deletion of your account and personal data, request your data in a structured machine-readable format, or object to certain processing activities.

7. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption for all data in transit, cryptographic principal IDs via Internet Identity (no passwords stored), Stripe's PCI-compliant infrastructure for payment data, and access controls limiting who can view seller payout and order data.
No method of electronic transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but are committed to protecting your data with reasonable safeguards.
9. Children's Privacy
Urban Blooms is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has created an account on our platform, please contact support@urbanblooms.art and we will promptly delete the account.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify users of material changes via in-platform notification or email. Your continued use of Urban Blooms after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
